Exporting goods already imported from the EU or from where they have an FTA - Post Brexit

Question: Exporting goods already imported from the EU or from where they have an FTA

Quite a large percentage of the items we export to the EU are manufactured there will a statement on the invoice indication their country of origin on the invoice be sufficient to prevent them from having duty applied to them when being cleared into the EU. Equally another proportion are made in Japan and are therefore free from duty normally coming into the EU how should this be shown on the invoice and or accompanying paperwork. Most of our items need to be despatched on the day of order so there is no time to obtain a certificate of origin.

Answer
