Job Description:
Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Trainee to join a high technology development company where you will receive excellent training and can progress your career as a machinist. Initially training as an operative on modern Lathes and Mills, progressing to machining and programming. Training will be delivered through excellent internal and external sources, where you will learn the skills needed to become a proficient CNC Machinist. We are a small and flexible team dedicated to providing our customers with high quality products in a responsive and timely manner.
The role is an opportunity to become an important contributor to the current team and business.
Main responsibilities will cover various areas following training: -
Loading and unloading CNC Machines
Reading drawings
Setting CNC Machines
Operating CNC Machines
Adhering to HSE regulations
Adhering to our Quality processes
With Specialist training – Programming
Qualifications
BTEC or Equivalent – Mechanical Engineering
GCSE Maths & English
Attention to detail
Good computer skills
Team player
assembly and finishing - Maintain equipment in good working condition - Gradually learn more complex machine set-ups and programming - Prepare and finalise jobs for delivery - Occasionally support with admin tasks and inventory management The role is meant for someone willing to get involved at the heart of the manufacturing processes and gain a solid learning platform to build a technical career from
