Location: Based from Head Office - Whiteley

Covering the South / Midlands. May be required to stay away on occasion.

This is a mixed and varied role involving remote diagnostics, client support, installation, commissioning and maintenance.

It is essential that you have strong communication skills, you are well presented, possess a flexible positive attitude and have good pro-active problem-solving skills. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

·Telephone system installations - SIP/Hosted/ISDN.

·Analogue lines.

·Mobile Apps.

·Maintenance, overcoming challenging fault situations.

·Providing great customer service to all of our customers.


·Sales Support.

·Carrying out site surveys.

·Finding creative solutions to the challenges of network design, mobile communications, data service requirements, internet and network signalling protocols.

·Overcoming challenging issues and involving all departments to ensure a smooth delivery for our customers.

·Negotiating product requirements for customers with the Sales Department.

·Providing technical guidance to colleagues and other departments.

·Testing theoretical designs.

·Offering support in the office with logged faults when needed.

The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and key skills:

·Essential to have experience with NEC SV9100 - SIP trunks - ISDN - Analogue

·Experience with Mitel

·Experience with Unify/Siemens


·iPECS Hosted / On-Prem

·Knowledge of routers and router configuration

·Qualification to GCSE grade A-C

·Knowledge of Desktop operating systems (Windows XP/7/8) including Office Suites.

You will be working field based as a telecoms engineer and be required to provide technical support to the Sales teams, other inhouse departments, carry out new installations and attend sites to rectify faults. We are ideally seeking a candidate who is situated within a 1 hour commute of Whiteley.

You will be required to carry out onsite and Remote Systems Installation, training and aftercare NEC SV9100/SV8100 / MyCalls / Mitel / Unify / Siemens Hipath 3000 / Siemens OpenOffice / OpenScape / iPECS - Business range as well as VOIP, all preferable but not essential equivalent experience will be considered.
