This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workplace Coordinator or Office Manager who has a focus on compliance, supervisory experience and worked in a busy, fast paced corporate office. They will be responsible for the provision of a client focused facilities service through the application of policy and best practice and the management of a large workplace team. They will continually look for improvements and ensure customer service is delivering to an exceptionally high standard.

Salary - 27,000 negotiable

Hours - 37.5 hours (8am - 4.30pm)

Based in Edinburgh. Near Haymarket

The successful candidate will have;

A leader of the workplace environment
An ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams
Ability to operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
Willingness to roll up sleeves and make it happen
Previous experience of managing within Facilities Management or service driven sector
Previous experience of a busy workplace or office environment; managing FOH and Cleaners
Knowledge and understanding of HSEQ relevant to commercial environment incl; Fire, First Aid, DSE, and Accident reporting
IOSH Managing Safely
BIFM, IWFM (Ideal) You would be responsible for;

Motivating and Managing the Workplace team (Workplace Coordinator(s), Assistants, Receptionists and Cleaners)
Ownership of the total Operations and Workplace delivery, acting as an ambassador for making our buildings experience the place to be.
Providing mentoring, coaching and performance review (Manage cover, sickness and holiday etc)
Ensuring the office working environment meet customer expectations and are continually improved.
Providing a superior guest experience where visitors are welcomed and anticipated
Relationship management with the client, internal and external stakeholders
Health and Safety - Undertake & deliver all H&S responsibilities. Such as Review signage, Coordinate H&S inductions, Fire Warden, First Aid Training
Security - Report incidents to security as appropriate
Finance and reporting -Raise/ approve purchase orders when required
Environmental - Support with the roll-out of environmental initiatives.
