We are an award winning leading provider of content protection to the entertainment industry. Specialising in video security, we provide security services to a global client base. That client base includes many of the world's largest pay-TV broadcasters, as well as television and movie producers to the most well known sports leagues and event operators.

How could you help?

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer with experience of back-end and front-end Web development in a Cloud environment.

What will your job look like?

This role reports to the Engineering Team Lead in our London office.

The position requires individuals with strong commercial development experience in web development, familiarity with distributed systems, keen mathematical skills, and enthusiasm for technical challenges. The successful candidates will be expected to develop their skills in multiple, challenging technical areas to work as part of a rapidly growing technical organisation. Each member of the team is expected to work across several disciplines, including architecture, web-development software engineering, and continuous integration/delivery.

You may be asked to travel to any of our UK offices to assist colleagues, but this is minimal. (York, Birmingham and London).

Key daily tasks involve

Being responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design and prototype through development, testing, and deployment.
Delivering to tight timescales in a fast environment.
Developing new techniques in the areas of video and audio fingerprinting, content classification, and watermarking.
Working effectively with your colleagues to estimate and deliver issues, working within teams that use Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Effectively communicating with internal customers.
Organise meetings, video and phone conferences to further your deliverables.


What you need to bring

Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
Strong commercial software development experience.
Experience in software development for the web including PHP, Javascript, C++.
Experience working in Cloud Based environments.
Excellent communication skills.Desirable

An understanding of the current content piracy landscape for digital media.
Experience of Cloud Services (AWS).
