On behalf of a passionate, person centred organisation I am looking for a Home Manager to manage one of their beautiful care homes near Bedford...

The organisation prides itself on the excellent care that they provide to its residents, all of their homes have achieved excellent CQC reports and have a great reputation. A vacancy has arisen at one of their stunning Care Homes near Bedford, the provides care to older people and those with physical or complex needs and dementia. The home, although modern inside, has retained some beautiful original features giving it a real 'homely' feel. There are lovely lounges, dining rooms and beautiful gardens and patio area's for residents and their families to enjoy. The home has an excellent local reputation and subsequently has 100% occupancy with waiting list.

As a Home Manager your role will be to oversee the smooth day to day running of the home, your duties will include budgeting, marketing, recruitment of staff, appraisals, disciplinaries, liaising with GPs, health care professionals and relatives to name a few. In return for your hard work and commitment my client in offering a competitive salary that is negotiable for the right individual (circa £40'000+), plus pension scheme, private healthcare scheme and annual leave.

In order to be considered you will need to ideally have a minimum of 2 years Home Management experience however if you are an experienced Deputy with the right passion and drive you are encouraged to apply. You will be smartly presented, highly organised and you will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager, Matron Manager, Registered Manager, Care Home Manager seeking a new challenge or an exceptional Deputy Home Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Head of Care looking to further their career.
