This is an exciting opportunity for experienced HR professional to join an award winning organisation at their offices based in Reading. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a fast paced environment, knowledge and personality to be able to work independently.

You will have a consultancy approach to strategic partnering and will be a key driver of an achievement focused culture that delivers entrepreneurial agility in a very competitive environment where my client builds a level of employee experience and commitment that sets them apart in their industry.

Supporting leaders from the point organisational design, you will also identify areas of the organisation that requires cultural partnership and/or cultural interventions to intelligently deliver continual and sustainable improvements in individual leadership and team effectiveness.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

Strategic Partnership

Strategically partner with leaders to provide commercially focused, strategic and operational thought partnership and advice to support the implementation and embedding of strategies and practices that support the business vision, purpose and strategic goals.
Provide enabling support to leaders to develop and deliver against objectives with clear metrics.
Take an active part in organisational design, change management and risk management as we embark on a period of accelerated growth.
Taking a consulting approach, identify areas of the organisation that requires cultural partnership and/or tailored cultural interventions to intelligently deliver continual and sustainable improvements in individual leadership and team effectiveness.
Actively introduce outside thinking into the organisation, using data insights to identify emerging trends and gaps and challenge current practices and inform solutions to resolve strategic business, people practice issues.Culture Partnership

Implement a consulting approach to culture improvement that provides a catalyst for positive change by providing leaders with a consolidated view of meaningful performance diagnostics, which identifies the source of team performance issues and effectiveness constraints.
Design and deploy interventions, drawing on the existing frameworks and models and developing alternatives when required.
Champion cultural transformation and fit for purpose people practices as they extend across the employee lifecycle. Generalist HR activities

Support leaders with generalist HR activities such as business communication, employee relations, on-boarding, organisational change management, organisation development, people development, performance management, recruitment, reward, stakeholder engagement, talent management and any other activities within the employee lifecycle as required or as directed when within the capability of the role holder.

Person specification:

(Essential and desirable)

Bachelor's degree in Psychology / Organisational Psychology / Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Chartered CIPD (preferred) or Assoc CIPD
Psychometric / Team Effectiveness / Consultancy accreditation
Demonstrated Human Resources partnering experience in a multi-business unit environment.
Change management experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate complex ideas and business concepts in accessible terms.
Superior commercial acumen and an ability to align Human Resource / People / Culture programs and interventions to meet the needs of our agile and commercially competitive organisation.
Ability to tailor communication style to influence at all levels of the organisation up to and including at C-Suite level.
Self-awareness and strong motivation for continued professional development
Personal and professional resilience
Knowledge of the psychology of team effectiveness, and the design of leader-led interventions
