Teaching Personnel are experiencing a high demand for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for Primary Schools within the St Austell area of Cornwall.

What is the role of a HLTA?

To work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Also to supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers. 

Who is suitable for a HLTA role?

- Individuals who hold HLTA status

- Confident and experienced Teaching Assistants

- NQTs looking to gain confidence and experience

- FQTs who no longer want a full class teaching role

- Graduates
