A leading National Retirement Living Builder are looking to recruit a Handy Man / Handy Person to work from their Kettering office.

The Handy Man / Handy Person will provide an after care maintenance service to residents in their retirement homes.

Main responsibilities and scope of works:
Visiting customers homes and diagnosing and repairing problems and carrying out minor repairs.
Installing internal doors and frames,Door furniture and hinges,Architraves and skirting boards,Fitting windows and doors,Soffits fascias guttering and downpipes.
Kitchen fitting and any other carpentry tasks issued. Fencing,Patch plastering repairs,Basic plumbing repairs,pointing up brickwork.
Carpentry duties including diagnosing and repairing a wide range of maintenance issues.
Working safely and complying with health and safety at all times.

The Person:
You will have worked as a Handy Man / Handy Person and ideally, the experience should be in the retirement living apartment or residential construction sector
Knowledge & Experience
Multi Trade experience and a carpenter background is desirable.
Relevant construction qualifications including carpentry
