Job Description of a Factory Manager

The postholder will be responsible for the effective management of all machine shop, inspection and assembly staff, ensure orders are dispatched on time and maximise the efficiency of machine build.

The Factory Manager will identify any training needs, drive KPI's and ensure targets and deadlines are met.  Health and safety as well as quality standards are to be monitored closely and maintain excellent housekeeping.  The position will sit on the senior management team reporting directly into Managing Director.

Skills & experience of a Factory Manager

A history of working through the ranks from a CNC machinist would be the ideal for this position as you will be managing staff from the machine shop.  A passionate and enthusiastic leader with real presence would make a great fit for this position.  Experience of working in a management capacity is essential for this position as well as a successful track record of product delivery.
