We are working with a well established and highly successful Electronics company, based nr Penarth, South Wales - they are looking for a Electronics Technician / Repair Technician to join them paying £18-£22,000 per annum working Monday to Friday (days), with the opportunity to do lots of overtime.

Hours - Mon to Fri, 8.30 to 5.30 (1.30 on Friday)
Our client manufacture specialist products for the UK, European and Worldwide markets. From their facility in South Wales, they design, test and manufacture the products - as well as providing service and repair of their products. T
Working between the production and service / repair centre the Electronics Technician / Repair Technician will initially be working in the production area where you will be trained on building the instruments and dealing with any issues. This will involve reading schematics and drawings, ensuring tolerances are correct and populating PCB boards - as well as testing components and completing paperwork. Once up to speed on their products you will then go into the repair centre where you will be servicing and repairing units - including fault finding, carrying out calibration checks and rectifying issues.
The successful Electronics Technician / Repair Technician will have:
·Ability to read and work from schematic drawings
·Good knowledge of electronics and experience in testing electronic equipment
·HND/HNC in Electronics engineering or similar
·Have a practical aptitude, coupled with excellent analytical and problem solving skills - You will be liaising with various departments to rectify issues and improve products
·Have a genuine interest and passion for technology
