Electrical Contracts Manager

Salary £45,000 - £60,000K + Car + Package (depending on level of experience)

This is a privately owned regional contractor within the East Midlands and turnovers in excess of £70million per year. The business has a number of divisions incorporating M&E, Build and Refurbishment contracts.

They are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Contracts Manager, reporting to the Operations Director for the M&E Department.

As the Electrical Contracts Manager, you will ensure the projects are running accordingly with the installation and specification requirements whilst ensuring compliance and specification are met along with quality and contract documentation is followed. You will manage and control several multi-disciplined electrical contracts, value range from £200k to £2.5m.

As the Electrical Contract Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

As a Contracts Manager, you would ideally have a minimum of 10 years in the construction industry and must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of managing electrical packages and contracts as either a Contracts Manager or Project manager looking to step up with values from £200k to £2.5m.

Overseeing contracts from preconstruction and design, commissioning whilst liaising with the client. Procurement and sub-contractor selection, organising both direct and subcontract labour through the installation stages. You will be overseeing 3 to 4 projects at any one time, with Site / Project Managers reporting to you on a daily / weekly basis. You must have up to date and relevant qualifications.

Skills and experience:

Experience of working a variety of new build or refurbishment contracts, this client will have contracts that cover care homes, education, health or commercial and industrial contracts.
Good people management and motivational skills.
The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
Relevant electrical qualifications.
