A well respected Engineering organisation is currently experiencing an ongoing period of growth and success. Due to an ever increasing workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their dedicated team of engineering professionals.

The role is based in the Preston (Lancashire) area and is for an initial 12 month duration. There is a rate of £36LTD Per Hour on offer for the successful candidate. Please find the description below:

Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Engineering Data Management Engineer to join the Product Sustainability Team.

The role will involve interpreting and extracting Hazardous Materials data from both internal and external materials and process specifications and standards and collating this data in Excel.

This extracted data will form part of the new Materials Data Solution which the team are developing so this is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the project.

There may also be opportunities to liaise with other areas of the business to improve the way we manage these documents and the associated data.

The successful candidate will be;
Proficient with Microsoft Office - particularly Excel;
Comfortable liaising with a range of Key Stakeholders and SMEs;
Able to work independently and manage their own time;
Familiar with internal manufacturing processes and associated documentation (preferable but not essential);
Familiar with EDSRS and IHS (preferable but not essential).

The successful candidate should ideally have a background working with Engineering data.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:

The successful candidate will be;
- Excellent in Microsoft Office Excel

- Good in Microsoft Office - Word

Must have essential communication and motivation skills, team working is desirable

Personal Qualifications:

NVQ level 3
