Customer Accounts Advisor - Credit Control / Debt Collection experience required

Location: Southwark, London
Position: Customers Accounts Advisor
Salary/Rate: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package
Type: Full Time, Permanent (35 hours per week, Monday - Friday)

Adecco are excited to be working in partnership with our award-winning client, based in their modern London head offices. This is a permanent, full-time position within a nationally recognised, life changing organisation.

Purpose of Role:

To reduce and minimise the company's debt liability by collecting outstanding customer debt from customers and recovering monies from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Veterans Agency (Veterans UK).

Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for issuing the DWP & Veterans Agencies with daily Live Agreement Schedules
Manage via workflow cases to resolve/identify issues around billings and payments for DWP & Veterans agreements
Negotiate repayment plans for customer debt
Proactively contact customers to identify reason for arrears
Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints

Experience and Qualifications:



Two year's experience of consumer credit control/collections background
Knowledge of Microsoft packages including excel
Good attention to detail skills
Excellent telephone manor
Previous customer service experience
Experience of account reconciliations/management
Experience working with vulnerable Customers
