Our client, an independent engineering and sustainability consultancy are looking for a BREEAM with at least 2 years' experience in a related role to join a team of consultants in London that are focused on delivering comprehensive, cost effective and innovative advice to their clients.
The main responsibilities of the role are to provide sustainability support to the team including environmental certification of buildings and development of sustainability strategies. You must be experienced in full management of environmental assessment of buildings using BREEAM, LEED,WELL Standard and Ska including collation of evidence and certification. The successful candidate will have good English skills both written and verbal along with excellent interpersonal skills, in order to deliver concise, well written sustainability report and as it will be required of the candidate to lead the delivery of some projects.
It is essential that candidates have a strong academic background including a bachelor's and/or master's degree in subjects such as: Energy Engineering and Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Systems or any related discipline.
Essential Skills:
Qualified BREEAM Assessor
Understanding of energy and sustainability planning policy
Good understanding of Net Zero Carbon Standards
2 years' experience in a related role (preferably Sustainability Consultant)
Good understanding of methodologies for embodied carbon quantification and design principles for cicular economy including project experienceThe ideal Sustainability Consultant will relish being part of a dynamic team within a progressive and well-respected firm, have a serious passion about sustainable solutions and will be already working within a sustainability or engineering consultancy, looking for a new challenge .As part of a team you will need good communication skills and possess enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
