Billing Administrator

At Microlise, our Finance team play a key role in the success and smooth running of Microlise and we are now looking for a Billing Administrator to provide exceptional administrative support for the wider team. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all invoicing transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and that resulting revenues are reported accurately.

To be successful within this role we are looking for you to be able to provide timely and accurate production of customer invoices, resolution of customer invoice queries within agreed SLA, timely resolution of invoicing exceptions and resolution of internal work requests.

What you will be doing

* Creation and maintenance of billing records via our platform

* Preparation, creation and submission of Microlise invoices to end customers

* Monitor exceptions and take all necessary remedial action to ensure that all invoices are produced accurately

* Maintain working data required for the accurate reporting and accounting of invoiced revenues

* Timely and accurate production of all necessary financial journals and reporting

* Internal/External liaison to resolve any customer invoice queries or disputes in a timely manner

* Ad-hoc administrative duties, as might be required to facilitate invoicing, order administration or revenue accounting

What we are looking for

* Minimum 5 GCSE passes or equivalent including English & Maths

* Highly numerate with experience in a similar analytical role

* Customer focused and a understanding of the wider business objective

* Experience of using ERP/accounting systems

* IT literate with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and ideally Access

* Excellent attention to detail

* Logical & methodical approach

* Tenacious, target, deadline and output driven

* Pro-active with ability to work under pressure ensuring multiple time lines and demands are met

* Proven data analysis and reporting skills

* Excellent team player but able to work with minimal instruction
