CV-Library jobs

Experienced security officers required to support the year-round team and provide a 6-star service while keeping customers, staff and visitors safe and secure at our Client's iconic world-class venue. Successful candidates will have the chance to experience the atmosphere of The Championships, one the world's most prestigious sporting events, as part of the team late June/July.

If successful, you will have the opportunity to work full-time hours for up to 3 months: from the early pre-Championships 'Build' phase, into the 2-week Championships, and then the final 'De-rig' phase. Upon conclusion of De-rig, you will be eligible to continue to work as required on all other events within the business.

The role is varied, and while a high level of security and security/counter terrorism awareness are of primary importance, the position also requires excellent communication skills (spoken and written and solid IT literacy) and customer service as well as the highest standards of personal presentation. A background in the hospitality or high-end corporate sectors advantageous but not essential.

Officers will primarily be based at gatehouses around the perimeter of the venue, acting as first point of contact for all visitors, guests, contractors, staff and members. Officers will also be expected to conduct patrols and will spend long periods on their feet and operate within a very busy and dynamic environment, making a good level of physical fitness essential. Must be confident and assertive, able to follow detailed instruction and capable of swift, reasoned decision making under pressure. Must be flexible in relation to working hours and shift patterns.

All candidates must have a valid Door Supervisor SIA licence, with a current first aid at work qualification and clean driving licence a strong advantage.

Any job offer dependant on being successfully vetted to BS7858 standards - be able to provide full details for 5-year address and employment history as well as all required proofs (ID, NI, address, right to work etc.) and full references immediately
