My Client seeks a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their service desk and lead role. Mainly office based, the ideal candidate will enjoy being able to balance team leadership with hands-on guidance, providing a diverse range of technical support to both colleagues and clients.
2nd/ 3rd Line Support Engineer Responsibilities:
* Act as an escalation point for 1st Line team resolving both hardware and software issues.
* Support on various projects including system upgrades.
* Supporting the development of the technical team ensuring a happy, professional and efficient working environment.
* Work with clients both remotely and offer on-site support to various infrastructure, application and hardware issues.
* Carrying out the configuration, installation, monitoring, maintenance and testing of computer systems and networks, from the ground up to completion.
2nd / 3rd Line Support engineers’ skills and experiences required:
* Three years’ IT Support experience.
* Good leadership skills
* Windows 7 and 10 support.
* Microsoft servers 2003 – 2016.
* Microsoft platforms, office 365, active directory and exchange.
* Exposure to networks, firewalls, switches and routers.
* Antivirus concepts
