Job Description: Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, are looking for a Social Worker, to join the MASH team. This is a locum position on a three-month rolling contract in an exceptionally supportive environment. The role is office based and a great opportunity to take your next step in your career.

Your responsibilities as the Locum Social Worker:

You will ensure that you work effectively to assess the severity and requirements of all calls that come through
Ensuring that all contacts are signposted or handed over to appropriate staff and services for efficient action
Initial assessments
To undertake interviews, observations and gather information from children, families and other agencies to analyse, summarise and evaluate the information to provide a holistic assessment of a child's needs

Requirements of you as the Locum Social Worker

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
Significant experience in Child Protection and must have experience working in Duty and Assessment Team/MASH environments.
A valid Social Work England registration

Location: Poole

Pay: Up to £35 per hour DOE
