Job Description: Service Manager - Learning Disabilities
Market Weighton, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary circa 40k
Beverley, Driffield, Market Weighton, Goole, Hull, York, Bridlington.
We are recruiting for a Service Manager who is nurse qualified with RNLD or RMN. The company is a family owned domiciliary care agency that provides Independent Supported Living (ISL) and respite services to people who live in their own homes, both younger adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and older people throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be working for a reputable, well respected company in Yorkshire, rated “Good” by CQC.
This is a busy service providing time-limited care calls as well as 24-hour support to those with complex needs throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We are interested in speaking to experienced domiciliary care managers with strong leadership skills, who are motivated and enthusiastic about introducing new ways of working in line with CQC guidelines, to grow and develop the service further.
Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the safe growth and quality of the business, and to recruit, lead and manage a large staff team. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable and experienced in the relevant policies to comply with current legislation, and able to build close working relations with local authorities, CQC and other related health professionals.
Experience of tender writing or contributing towards contract bids would be beneficial as you will be instrumental in the business development, marketing and promoting the company and its services to ensure maximum hours and contracts won.
Successful candidates must be RNLD or RMN qualified with a valid UK NMC PIN number. Ideally you will hold NVQ Level 5 or be working towards it.
