MRB Health & Social Care Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Service Manager, working for the UK’s leading independent provider of adult care services.

Operating at more than 500 sites across the UK, our client offers care and support across adult care, healthcare and children’s and educational services. The company are committed to proving the highest standards of care, quality and safety across their services and with the support of their employment team continuously look for areas of improvement to strive for excellence across all services.


We are looking for an experienced Manager for our client’s service based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. This is a 24/7 specialist residential service for adults living with autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s syndrome. Some service users also have communication difficulties or present behaviours that challenge as well as s a range of other disabilities such as epilepsy.

The recent CQC report for the service has been awarded as “good”.

As the Service Manager, you will report into the Operations Manager and have will be responsible for leading your team to provide safe care and support to service users in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives.

Committed to quality assurance, you will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care. You will be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success.
