Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting for a special educational needs school based in Birmingham that are looking to appoint some new experienced SEN teaching assistants to join their team. The positions is on day to day and long-term basis with a view to go permanent for the right people. The school are seeking graduate, Level 2/3 qualified teaching assistants with experience working with children with Autism.

As a teaching assistant you will be working alongside the class teacher and supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.

The school is a very large school which caters for children with MLD, SEMH, ASD, Autism. The school caters for pupils aged 4 - 18.

The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEN. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
