Job Description: Teaching Assistants - Behaviour, ADHD, SEMH - Wolverhampton

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting for a Pupal referral unit based in Wolverhampton that are looking to appoint some new Teaching Assistant with behaviour, ASD, ADHD, EBD, SEMH experience to join their team. The positions is on a day to day, short term or long term basis with a view to go permanent for the right person. They are seeking people that are graduates, Level 2/3 qualified, Teamteach qualification and have experience of working with SEN children. This position would be good for someone with a sporty background or previous youth worker experience.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working alongside the class teacher and other TA's supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.

The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including ASD, EBD, ADHD and SEMH. The school caters for pupils aged 4-18.

The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEN. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.

One of our teaching assistants placed at this school has said "This is lovely school to work at. The staff are really friendly, supportive and make you feel part of the team from day one. There is on going support and CPD courses available that you can go on to get you better trained on new policies and procedures within the school".

I am really happy to be working with this school as they really care about their students and staff. It is a very large school and they have so many facilities for their pupils. There are many SEN TAs employed in the school and everyone has a really good work ethic.
