Job Description: I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a leading transportation company based in the heart of Cardiff city centre who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Talent Recruitment Manager to join their expanding team on a 12 month FTC.

You will support the delivery of the career & talent management strategy across the business, with particular focus on the recruitment and career paths of the highest quality staff. To deliver the recruitment and selection of talent by ensuring best practice is followed by the company, advising and coaching line managers ensuring that the best recruitment decisions are made. Support the delivery of all talent initiatives undertaken as part of the talent team including Graduates, Apprentices, Interns and all aspects of Talent Management. Ensure legal obligations are adhered to at all times.

As part of the Talent Team the job holder formulates and manages recruitment strategies and supports the Head of Recruitment to define and deliver the talent strategies to support the business. This role involves collaborating and influencing line managers to determine requirements, make recommendations and agree deliverables, as well as specialist research and benchmarking.

The Role
This post is responsible for ensuring resource plans are monitored, reviewed and recruitment timings and advice is given to managers in order to ensure adequate resource is employed to protect the service. There is also a close link with the Payroll Manager and the IT Business Partner regarding the HR and Recruitment Databases. The role provides services across the whole business.

* Manage the delivery of timely, fair and effective recruitment campaigns; actively managing company resource plans in line with business needs. Ensure that recruitment documentation including job adverts, job descriptions and all candidate offer paperwork is issued to the required timescales and to the highest standard, accurately reflecting terms and conditions offered by the company.
* Manage the new starter process for all successful candidates ensuring all documentation is received in line with UK legislation and any other national industry requirements and the HR system is updated accordingly.
* Coach line managers on best recruitment practice - ensuring legal and industry standards and requirements during the recruitment process are met at all times. Contribute to training activity in this field.
* Keeping abreast of latest research and developments in recruitment and the subsequent development of innovative recruitment and assessment solutions
* Interpretation and application of legislation, industry and Company business standards in relation to recruitment
* Frequent analysis of job applicant data

The Candidate

* Creative with the ability to design and deliver innovative recruitment solutions
* Experience of recruiting within technical and engineering sector
* Good analytical skills
* Excellent organisational and administration skills
* Strong IT Skills, including experience of working with Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel


* Qualified to A Level standard
* Level A & B BPS Psychometric testing
* CIPD Qualified


* Paying a basic salary of £40,000.
* Monday to Friday working hours 9 am - 5 pm.
