Cera is a technology-enabled care company which aims to change the way that people receive care, our goal is to make it simpler and easier to support your loved ones when they need help!

People are at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for an inspirational Director of People to join our Central London based team and help us deliver against our dream.

You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with a dotted line report to our C-suite.

The Director of People has ownership of driving our people strategy, helping our current employees feel 'The Cera difference' and developing our culture for current and future employees. A key focus of this role is to ensure that Cera’s EVP is tangible and felt by everyone in the organisation which helps us to provide great care to all of our customers while improving the experience of everyone involved in care delivery.

This requires someone who is empathetic to the needs of our business and those of our workforce as well as a strong understanding of processes and policies. The ideal candidate would have experience managing the workforce of a medium sized organisation and delivering change. Your work will have a huge impact on the way that care is experienced.

Key responsibilities:

To provide strong inspirational leadership to the individual staff membersteams across the company

*

Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to develop an HR Vision and Strategy along with a practical roadmap which aligns to the corporate strategy and business objectives

*

Develop a keen understanding of our employee needs

*

Ownership of the company brand and culture for employees

*

Leading the organisation’s HR department, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management

About you:

*

You will likely have a background in Talent Acquisition, People Management and Business Transformation

*

You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty - you’ll be creating documentation, mapping processes, and sometimes even implementing your own solutions with the Cera team

*

A pragmatic approach to prioritisation, identifying and implementing quick wins where appropriate
