Job Description: Part/Full Time HR Assistant

£16,490 - £18,906 p.a. (full time salary)

Starting salary will depend on level of qualifications and work experience

Our client is recruiting for an efficient administrator who can manage a varied and interesting workload. You could be looking for your first step within Human Resources. If so, they are able to provide you the experience and opportunities you need to progress within a Human Resources career. Or you could already be an Administrator and want to branch out into something different.

No previous work experience in Human Resources is required, but if you have just left Education, they do want to see evidence of your work experience, either paid or unpaid (other than any organised through your school, college or university).

You will be an integral part of a small team so you must have a great work ethic, be very flexible and take real pride in your work. You need the ability to be accurate with great attention to detail and super administration skills. A positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude is a must so that you can provide a good service to our staff. Your IT skills will be in demand especially in a help desk situation where you will be supporting staff through using our self-service systems.

Your professional approach is also important as you will be meeting and greeting and escorting interviewees to provide a positive experience of our recruitment process.

Should you wish, there is the option to gain an Apprenticeship qualification whilst you are with us either Level 2 /3 in NVQ Customer Care or Business Administration and/or in Human Resources.

They are able to offer you a local government pension scheme, generous holidays and the facilities of a College campus set in 7 acres of green belt in a peaceful setting. The College has excellent transport links and is set in a location convenient to London and the South East and offers a large free on-site car park.

If you feel you have the potential for this role they look forward to hearing from you.

If you would prefer to work part time over 4 days rather than full time please include on your application days and hours available.

Closing date for applications: 23 February 2020

The recruitment process will be held in 2 parts:

Part A - testing - 26 February 2020

Part B - interview - 27 February 2020(You will only progress to Part B if you have passed Part A)

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening including checks with past employers and enhanced DBS clearance
