Job Description: Operations Manager (Passive Fire)

Employment type: Permanent, full-time
* Location: Leeds
* Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
* Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary plus car allowance and bonusDue to continued growth and success, my client is now seeking an Operations Manager with passive fire experience to join their business. The successful candidate will have an important role in identifying and engaging with key personnel within the passive fire sector and building a successful division to compliment this large and well-established company. You will be expected to visit clients, main contractors, and site management, generating leads and building relationships with clients, managing existing and new accounts, prospecting and providing quotations on fire protection services and solutions for the division.

Responsibilities:

Management and Inspection of Fire stopping work to current FIRAS standards
Company Lead on all fire protection and stopping enquires and providing quotations and appropriate solutions and range of products for client and site requirements
Liaising with site contractors and clients on fire protection product requirements and producing detailed work quotations matching client expectations.
To develop new systems and procedures.
Management and co-ordination of direct fire protection team and subcontractor (as applicable) work duties engaged in installing and removing fire protection equipment from customer sites including ceilings, walls, floors, and other structures.
Providing training and best practice advice to all install teams.
To create and update work plans for all fire protection services and work carried out for customer requirements.
Manage any budget and or resources within identified parameters with regular reporting to the management team of progress and status.

Experience required:

FIRAS certification (Preferred)
Management experience
Fire Stopping auditing experience
Bachelors degree (preferred)
Candidates with a background from associated sectors (structural insulation, building envelop, insulation, pipe lagging, penetration sealing & cavity barriers, drylining, cladding, facades) will be considered.
