Job Description: CK Science are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Centre Scheduler to join on a permanent basis at our clients site in Hertfordshire.

 

My clients vision has always been for the UK to be a global leader in the development, delivery and commercialisation of cell and gene therapies and a place where collaborating businesses can start, and confidently grow.

 

With a custom built research and manufacturing faculties with more than 170 employees focusing on cell and gene therapy technologies, it works with partners in academia and industry to ensure these life-changing therapies can be developed for use in health services throughout the world. The overall aim is to make the UK the most compelling and logical choice for UK and international partners to develop and commercialise these advanced therapies.

 

The purpose of this role is to coordinate all areas including collaborator and contractor activities within the centre.

 

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the scheduling of operational activities such as facility cleaning, environmental monitoring, material and equipment transfer, waste transfer, sample and product transfer.
Coordinate and manage scheduling activities associated with warehouse and supply chain activities.
Coordinate and manage, together with the Engineering department, facility shutdowns and reinstatement activities.
Develop and maintain scheduling tools capable of managing operational activities within the manufacturing centre.
 

Your Background:

Proven experience of working within a GMP environment.
Scheduling and production planning experience in a production or similar environment.
Scheduling and production planning experience in a supply chain environment.
Previous experience within a production management or team leader role within an aseptic manufacturing facility would be an advantage.
Experienced in electronic scheduling/planning tools and Microsoft Excel.
