Job Description: A successful manufacturing company with a Global presence and several established UK sites is seeking to recruit a dynamic Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Engineer Daily Duties:
- The Maintenance Engineer will be carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance on site machinery including conveyors and special purpose assembly equipment.
- The Maintenance Engineer will be working on reducing the downtime due to breakdowns as currently it is a 60/40 split from reactive to proactive maintenance.
- The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be primarily involved in mechanical maintenance but will also have occasional more complex electrical failures requiring fault finding on PLC Systems, mainly Siemens S7.
- You will also be involved in some project work being carried out on the site.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
- The successful Maintenance Engineer will be Multi Skilled, confident with both Electrical and Mechanical Fundamentals
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be qualified to apprenticeship level or above e.g. HNC.
- To be considered you will have worked within a fast moving manufacturing environment including FMCG, Food manufacturing, Automotive etc.
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be tenacious, enthusiastic, self-motivated and be able to work under pressure.
Shift - 12-hour Shifts, days and nights
Salary- £30,000- £38,000
Holiday - 19 days holiday plus Bank holidays
