Job Description: Our client is a well-established name within the water treatment industry offering the complete range of water treatment/water hygiene and legionella services to clients nationwide. Due to recent expansion they are now looking to employ a competent and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work on a wide variety of contracts in and around the Leeds area. The successful candidate will have extensive hands on experience carrying out in-depth legionella risk assessments to healthcare, commercial and industrial contracts. Applications will be considered from Harrogate, York, Bradford, Huddersfield the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent WMS certificate.
Experience as a legionella risk assessor within the water treatment/water hygiene arena.
Hands on experience carrying out technical legionella risk assessments on healthcare, commercial and industrial contracts.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Extensive experience of carrying out risk assessments on cooling towers.


Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Producing schematic drawings and final documents.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports if required.
