Job Description: Would you like to be the one person who changes a child's life? Children who have suffered trauma at some point in their lives have so much hidden talent. They have the undiscovered ability to change the world.

This school for young children who have suffered trauma are now looking for a robust team of Teaching Assistants like you. Where other schools have failed to help these young people, this school provide a stimulating, fun and effective learning environment so students progress in the long run.

What are your responsibilities?

Ensure high-quality learning takes place in all classes
Behavioural support in line with children's individual support needs
We are all a team - work with administrators, Teachers, therapy teams and anyone who is involved with positive development of our young people
Safeguard children at all times
Continual professional development to keep your skills up to date to assist young people to optimise lerning and progression
Mentor, guide and inspire through academic studies, extra curricular support and after school clubs as needed
What is required?

A strong desire to work with challenging children
Resilience and patience
Some demonstrated experience working with young people with challenging behaviours - although experience is not essential, your potential is more important
Full time availability Monday to Friday 8:20am to 4pm
