Job Description: As a member of the Sales Team the post holder will actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales function.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted Organic Sales Growth in line with agreed Business objectives
Drive the sales strategy to grow market share through both existing and new customers
Promote the brands and product range across all sectors
Identify and pursue profitable sales opportunities within the existing customer base
Adjust content of sales presentations by researching the type of customer and amending accordingly
Focus sales efforts by researching existing and potential volume of customer base and prioritising accordingly Quote Management

Manage all quotes through the Salesforce CRM system in a timely and efficient manner to meet all client and company requirements
Represent the company at site visits, presentations and other meetings as required
Ensure activity reports on quote chasing activity are produced on a weekly / monthly and annual basis
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management Product Development

Help identify and develop fresh and exciting new products / service offerings for the existing customer base and any new channels to market, to reflect the changing needs and wants of the industry.
Communicate effectively with colleagues internally to ensure that information is distributed efficiently
Make a valid and considered contribution by actively engaging in and supporting new sales initiatives
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc. Performance Metrics

Achieve Sales Targets for new business
Achieve Targeted Growth within existing customer base
Maintain a healthy pipeline, ensuring all information relating to new opportunities is captured and maintained on Salesforce CRM
Submit orders and quote requests by referring to price lists and product literature Personal

Develop your own skill base ensuring continuous self-improvement and, participate and embrace the development opportunities
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Personal Specification

Candidates must show an ability to gain a knowledge of the Automotive and RAC / HVAC industries
Knowledge of the Renewables market would also be beneficial, but not essential
Direct sales experience is a benefit
Educated to a good level with reasonable GCSEs, possibly A-levels, HND/HNC in an engineering related discipline Skills

Territory management, ability to minimise time and distance without losing sales effectiveness

Able to gain an in depth product knowledge
