Job Description: THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are supporting an international construction company based in Doncaster with an HR Advisor role, this is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to join a growing team.

Supporting the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will provide a professional administrative and advisory service to employees and management . Focusing on the learning and development of the workforce.
Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of employees, administering in house systems for the recording and monitoring training.
This role will predominantly focus on training and development and will support with other HR projects and duties as required.


Support with creating a world class HR department
Support on cultural changes
Maintain Cascade, run reports
Support the HR Manager with HR projects
Sickness records; recording and monitoring information and manage back to work
Manage Occupational Health process and required meetings
First line support for line managers and employees
Exit interviews
Employee Inductions, review and improve
Maintaining the People Management Information (MI)
Manage the recruitment process, JD's, internal ads, shortlisting and interview packs
Support on performance appraisals
Liaison with external agencies to source candidates
Disciplinary and grievance meetings
Maternity meetings
Support on wellbeing initiatives
Succession planning and talent management


Must be CIPD Level 5

HR Advisory experience
Awareness of statutory legislation and procedures relating to HR
Advising line managers on generalist HR advice
Supported line managers with development of their staff
Employment law experience

Manufacturing or engineering industry experience

Attention to detail
Professional confident manner
Strong communication skills
Microsoft Excel & Word skills
Good Interpersonal skills, ability to build effective relationships
Must have a 'can do' attitude
Good organisational skills/time management
IT Skills - word, excel, PowerPoint. HR software
