Job Description: My client based in West London is looking for a Housing/ASB Officer to join their growing team for an initial period of 3 months. This is a full time temporary role.

Your key duties will include:
*Effectively engaging with our residents to identify and assist vulnerable tenants, referring them on to relevant agencies and monitor complex cases with the aim of supporting the resident to sustain their tenancy.
*Investigating and responding promptly and sensitively to all reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) including nuisance, harassment and domestic abuse, in line with the Organisation's procedures and current best practice, including referrals, practical assistance and support for victims
*Managing tenancy related cases through the Organisation's legal processes, including preparing witness statements and attending Court.
*Managing the housing management team responsibilities of the void process, minimising the time a property is void whilst ensuring a customer focused letting service.
*Completing viewings and signups for prospective residents
*Visiting residents on a regular, targeted and pro-active basis, ensuring tenancy conditions are met
*Assisting our Rent Income teams to ensure effective management of arrears cases and joint-working to address any tenancy related issues to ensure income is maximised and recovered
*Sign posting residents to the relevant agencies where residents require additional support including welfare advice, employment and training
*Being proactive and working in partnership with the Community Investment Team, and other agencies to develop and promote resident participation, consultation and community development, with the aim of meeting the needs of tenants and the community.
*Supporting complaint investigations and responding to all complaints and informal comments

As the client is keen for the candidate to hit the ground running previous experience of carrying out a similar role within housing association or public sector client would be beneficial.
