Job Description: Export Sales Executive (FCMG)

Location: WATFORD

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5:30pm

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000

Our client is the UK’s fastest growing export, a small, friendly, very supportive and dynamic team, based just outside of London. Their main focus is to source branded goods from the United Kingdom and European markets at low and competitive prices to satisfy the ever-increasing worldwide demand. Principally they sell all Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) with their specialties remaining in Confectionery, groceries and popular ambient products

The Role Overall:

Promoting the company to new customers to deliver and maintain business growth.

Engaging new customers for delivery, cash and carry and export

Understanding your customer's needs to add value to their businesses.

KEY SKILLS: Excellent Communication Skills and Confidence with Customer Relationship building.

TRAINING: Where a candidate is new to Export: Please be aware that training for Exporting in the FMCG market may take from 4 to 8 months. We are happy to provide training from Export logistics to Export Sales.


Duties and Responsibilities

Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through responding in a timely manner to enquiries, research and networking.

Consistently providing information via email, WhatsApp and other social media, in order to continue trade and compile orders for current trading customers, enticing them with offers and promotions. Alongside offering attentive customer service and additional transportation, packaging and logistics services.

Following up on business opportunities via networking during trade shows, online specifically emails and social media i.e. By creating and sending Offers, providing enquiry specific quotes and information on services as well as export information to customers when requested.

Review New and Existing Customers Accounts at the time of opening and periodically after accounts are opened, to ensure accurate and up to date due diligence documents are obtained and ensure accounts are opened quickly and efficiently with all legal requirements to trade adhered to.

Consistently providing information via email to administrators and warehouse so information is entered onto the calendar and all orders/deliveries are planned and coordinated with the warehouse.

Scheduling appointments and meeting existing customers in order to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.

Effective planning and communication with Customers, to ensure payment transactions and sales orders are completed in a timely manner. 

Supply Chain and Order Fulfilment Management

Updating and maintaining customer accounts records, including contact names and numbers for future sales.
