Job Description: Overseeing the management of a large diary of events for an exciting project, we're working with one of our clients to cover a potential long-term sickness as an experienced Events Coordinator, on a month by month basis. For this role, you'll likely be based at their offices in Derby or nearby, travelling throughout the East Midlands as events take place.

Minimum Requirements for this Events Coordinator:

Already have demonstratable experience within a busy events role with high levels of autonomy
IT Literate including Word, PowerPoint and CRM Systems
Access to own transport due to the nature of the role
Available for an immediate start
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has already been involved in a number of events roles, that gets excited by topics and goes all out to make their team proud.

Within this events role you'll typically get involved in:

Building a schedule of events throughout the calendar year
Ensuring that the CRM is updated, and information maintained at all times
Sourcing and meeting with prospective speakers from throughout the region
Visiting venues, negotiating rates and ensuring they are ready for use on the day
Working with the director to ensure a full understanding of the topics, processes, CRM and making any difficult final decisions
Whilst we expect this opportunity to only last 3/4 months, depending on the return of an unwell employee, it's highly likely that other opportunities within the organisation will arise during this time... which is great news for you and our client, as you'll know just how important good business is to them.

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £12.60 per hour

Working 35 hours per week, with patterns dependent on events
