Job Description: Here at HM Land Registry we have an exciting opportunity for a Data Quality Administrator to join our team based in Plymouth. You will join us on either a Full-time or Part-time basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary of £20,655 per annum.

It is a very exciting time to join us as we continue on a major digital transformation programme. Our existing software systems form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion, enabling over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales. You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.

Responsibilities of our Data Quality Administrator include:

As a Data Quality Administrator, you will undertake a range of data quality administrative tasks to facilitate quality analysis and improvement across a variety of HM Land Registry products and data sets.

You will examine extracts from textual and spatial data sets to validate how conformance and consistency against pre-defined criteria and quickly and accurately identify all instances of non-conformance in the data. You will also take ownership of your own development by building capabilities through continuous learning.

What we’re looking for in our Data Quality Administrator:

To meet the requirements of this role, you have prior experience of delivering quality assurance or quality audit of bulk textual and/or spatial datasets; along with excellent attention to detail, with an ability to assess information across a variety of different data sources and identify gaps.

You will also have a good level of IT skills, including recent experience of utilising Microsoft based software, including Outlook, Word and Excel. In addition, through your strong organisational and time management skills you will have the ability to prioritise your personal workload effectively.
