Job Description: Part of the KN Group, Freeflow Traffic Management have been in operation since February 2018 and have quickly expanded to over 50 personnel, providing all manner of temporary traffic management solutions across the UK. Since it’s conception, Freeflow has grown to be one of the largest specialist traffic management contractors in the industry.

Our professional team based at our offices in Milton Keynes are completely dedicated to the provision of a safe, efficient, timeous and cost-effective service. The bulk of our current commitments originate in the telecoms environment, consequently we need to be flexible, reactive and progressive.

On the back of securing a number of major contracts, we are on the hunt for experienced Contracts Managers to complement the existing team.

Reporting to the director, the Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for leading the commercial and operational delivery of all Freeflow activities, maintaining the highest of standards where health & safety is paramount.

Main Duties as Contracts Manager:

* Carry out commercial review and risk analysis of contract.

* Oversee the contracts department to ensure delivery and commercial productivity.

* Regularly run reports on various company KPI’s to drive company performance.

* Carry out regular appraisals with the team as per company procedures.

* Attend meetings with clients to provide updates and discuss performance, workloads.

* Chair internal team meetings to ensure standards are maintained and actions, where applicable, are concluded in a timeous manner.

* Drive standards and look ahead for new work streams, potential new contracts/clients.

* Provide quotations, invoices daily where applicable.

* Draft, amend and review bespoke contracts.

* Provide commercial links between Operations Department and directors.

* Liaise regularly with clients and other stakeholders, including local authorities to ensure clear line of communication in respect to our projects.

* Work within the budgets set to ensure successful, cost effective delivery where health & safety is paramount.

* Develop and maintain awareness of Health and Safety and other relevant regulations to inform decision making.

* Undertake any other duties as reasonably required including travel as necessary.

* In conjunction with directors, play a key role in driving and developing the business for the year ahead and beyond.

* Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure all works are appropriately resourced.

* Lead a large, driven team with a wealth of experience to ensure all budgeted targets are met.

The successful candidate will have:

* Full driving license.

* Excellent communication & presentation skills.

* AutoCAD or equivalent experience.

* Excellent commercial skills, where innovation and initiative are encouraged.

* Work within the budgets set to ensure delivery/commercial success.

* Ability to manage a team in a quick turnaround environment ensuring the highest of standards are maintained throughout.

* Strong leadership qualities, managing a large team.

* Minimum 5 years + experience in the traffic management industry at management level or equivalent.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Monitor site practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the company H & S Policy, to minimise the likelihood of accidents and the resulting fines and compensation claims. Ensure training needs are identified and, in conjunction with HSEQ Department, arrange for personnel to attend such courses as are necessary. Failure to embrace a safe and secure environment can result in disciplinary proceedings.
