Job Description: The Rec Pool is actively looking for a Clinical Psychologist on behalf of our client, a national specialist Care and Wellbeing business, covering their Cheshire and North Wales patch. The role is a full time permanent position, offers exceptional company benefits and has a salary band 8a.

Overall Objectives:

Responsibility for delivery of psychological provision across the patch (under the supervision of the Clinical Director)
   Being aware of the aims and objectives of the business and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve these
   Supporting the functioning of the fortnightly Multi-disciplinary Team meetings
   To ensure that the qualitative objectives and ethos of care are implemented throughout the service in a timely manner
   To maintain effective and productive relationship/partnerships with all external agencies, and professional bodies
Key Tasks:

Completing appropriate assessments and baseline measures
Delivering effective clinical interventions (using  therapies such as ACT, DBT, CFT)
 Offering clinical supervision to assistant psychologists in a group or individually (as required).
 To establish and maintain best-practice systems, risk appraisal and quality assurance procedures to ensure high quality, high value services and good outcomes for young people and Local Authorities
 Maintaining the Clinical Tracker which monitors clinical progress over time
  Actively contributing to the development of the team through the delivery of training and reflective practice groups
   To communicate complex clinical information in a skilled and sensitive manner so that it is accessible to all staff.
   To maintain high standards of clinical practice that adhere to the professional ethical standards and the professional codes of practice of the relevant accrediting professional body
   HCPC Membership is a condition precedent of your employment. You are required to maintain membership of such a professional body
General Duties

To comply at all times with the company’s legal, contractual and regulatory requirements and responsibilities in relation to the above duties
   To represent the company externally where required and to promote its work and values
   To be aware of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and legislation which are current and ensure that all establishments carry out duties accordingly
   To carry out other duties reasonably requested by the Clinical Director, which fall within the remit of the role and the capabilities of the post holder
