Job Description: Due to internal promotion our nationwide client is seeking an Accounts Assistant Team Leader.

You will be managing and developing a team of 4 and preparing management accounts.

Responsibilities:

* Liaising directly with business owners, maintaining and controlling accounts

* Producing management accounts – statement reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accruals and prepayments and variance analysis

* Balance sheet reconciliation

* Assisting with year end audits

* Ensuring your team meet daily, weekly and monthly targets

* Manage payroll

* Process and post direct debits

* Reconcile the main current account

Key Skills:

* Strong Microsoft Excel and Word abilities

* Double Entry Bookkeeping

* Basic understanding of Accruals and Prepayments

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience managing a team

* Financial/Accounts background

* Good communication skills

* Experience working to deadlines
